Terms of Service
Last updated 24 August 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of wabot's website and WhatsApp automation platform (the "Service"). By registering an account, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
wabot lets you build and run WhatsApp bots for your business — a visual flow builder, an AI Assistant, a shared inbox, broadcasts, and a developer API — connected to your own WhatsApp Business number.
2. Your account
- You must provide accurate information when you register and keep your login credentials secure.
- You're responsible for everything that happens under your account, including actions taken by staff members you invite.
- You must be authorized to act on behalf of the business whose WhatsApp number you connect.
3. Subscriptions & billing
- Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance, in advance of each period, via Razorpay.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel any time from Billing — you keep access through the end of the period you already paid for.
- If a renewal payment fails, we'll retry and give you a short grace period before access pauses; your data isn't deleted during this time.
- Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law — cancelling doesn't entitle you to a refund for the unused portion of a period. [Confirm this matches the actual refund policy you want before publishing.]
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Send spam, unsolicited bulk messages, or anything that violates WhatsApp's own Business Messaging Policy and Meta's platform terms.
- Send illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, or harassing content.
- Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the Service.
- Use the Service in a way that violates any applicable law, including data protection and consumer-messaging regulations in your customers' jurisdictions.
You're responsible for your own compliance with WhatsApp's platform rules — Meta, not wabot, ultimately decides what's allowed on WhatsApp, and can restrict or ban a number independently of us.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of your business data and the conversations your bots have with your customers. You grant us the limited right to process that data as needed to operate the Service for you (send/receive messages, run your AI Assistant, store your Inbox) — nothing more.
6. Third-party services
The Service depends on WhatsApp/Meta, Razorpay, and our AI provider. We're not responsible for outages, policy changes, or account actions taken by these third parties that are outside our control — including Meta suspending or restricting your WhatsApp number.
7. Termination
You can stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, is used for illegal activity, or where payment has lapsed well beyond the grace period.
8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, wabot isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including lost messages, lost business, or actions taken by WhatsApp/Meta against your number.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the date at the top of this page, and account owners will be notified by email where appropriate.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. [Confirm jurisdiction/venue for disputes.]
11. Contact us
